The 1686 Quincy Homestead, 34 Butler Rd, Quincy will be open for tours on Saturday.
Besides tours of the Homestead offered by the Colonial Dames we will be offering a special event that highlights granite cutting in the early days. Alfred Bina, president of the Quincy Quarry and Granite Workers Museum, will offer a hands on stone cutting opportunity and demonstration. Come try your hand at cutting some granite the way they did it in the "old days"
